The Oklahoma School Counselor Association (OSCA) is a chartered state division of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and a division of the Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA), which is a state branch of the American Counseling Association (ACA) which supports School Counselors' efforts to help students focus on academic, personal / social and career development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society. OSCA provides professional development and networking opportunities to Professional School Counselors in Oklahoma.

Dr. Jerry Chandler Scholarship
The Dr. Jerry Chandler Scholarship is for OSCA members in a Guidance and Counseling graduate program. Dr. Chandler retired from UCO after many years as a professor and mentor in the school counseling program. He promoted professionalism and the role of the school counselor in Oklahoma. May 1 is the deadline for the application.
