Mission

The Oklahoma School Counselor Association strives to promote excellence in the profession of school counseling by empowering, leading, and advocating for school counselors and the students they serve.


Oklahoma School Counselor Association Goals:

 

  1. Sharing One Vision And One Voice: Strengthening relationships among professional school counselors.

  2. Collaboration: Collaborate with community partners for the benefit of our students in schools.

  3. Ethical Standards: Promoting ASCA professional and ethical standards that articulate the code of conduct for Oklahoma professional school counselors.

  4. Data Driven Programs: Promote the ASCA model for school counseling programs.

  5. Advocacy: Providing and promoting leadership and advocacy at local, state and national levels.

  6. Professionalism: Provide and support professional development opportunities.
